Bringing Definition technology to a stand-mount design, the DC8 offers the latest 8 inch Dual Concentric™ drive unit in a compact, curve wall cabinet constructed from the finest plywood. The WideBand™ tweeter technology offers exceptional high frequency extension, while the powerful bass driver and 19 litre port tuned enclosure offers class leading bass down to almost 40Hz. The high class, high gloss finish on the outside is complemented by extensive use of audiophile grade silver plated copper conductors on the inside and Tannoy’s innovative fifth speaker terminal for driver grounding. Deep Cryogenic treatment of the straight path crossover and extensive use of Tannoy DMT™ technology ensures the DC8 is as articulate as it is potent.

The latest 8 inch Dual Concentric™ drive unit with WideBand™ tweeter is augmented with a precision matched 8 inch bass driver in a thoroughly contemporary luxury finished cabinet. The exceptional rigidity of the port tuned plywood enclosure and extensive use of Tannoy DMT™ material achieves bass down to almost 30Hz with outstanding low frequency dynamics. The Deep Cryogenically Treated straight path crossover, silver plated copper conductors and Tannoy’s unique fifth speaker terminal for driver grounding ensures the DC8T’s class leading fidelity and articulation.

DC6LCR

Following the global success of the Definition range, customers worldwide demanded a centre channel loudspeaker to match the dynamic articulation of the series. The DC6 LCR is a powerful yet compact addition to the Definition range. It is capable of delivering all the scale and drama synonymous with the Definition range from a slim and elegant cabinet designed to fit under large screen TVs or projectors screens. Drawing on Definition’s key features, the DC6 LCR features a new 6in Dual Concentric driver, Tannoy’s unique fifth speaker terminal for driver grounding, a fully deep cryogenically treated crossover and a ultra-rigid cabinet crafted from slow-growing beech laminate. To deliver the same seamless power and performance of the larger floor standing models in the Definition range, the DC6 LCR adds twin 6in mid-bass drivers for full home theatre thunder. Hand crafted and hand finished to exceptional standards, the DC6 LCR brings home theatre and multi-channel music to the award winning Definition range.
